alma Hayek! Full name is Salma Valgarma Hayek Jimenez. She was born on 2 September 1966 in the oil boomtown of Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico. Her height 5'2". Salma has freely admitted that she and her brother Sami were spoiled rotten by her well to do Lebanese-Mexican businessman father and her Mexican born opera-singing mother. Salma Hayek is a Mexican American film actress, director and producer. She received an Academy Award nomination for her role as Frida Khalo in the film Frida. When her age 23 she land the title role in Teresa (1989) a successful Mexican telenovela that made her a star in Mexico. In 1994 she started in the film EI Callejon de los Milagros, Which has won more awards than any other movie in the history of Mexican cinema. For her performance she was nominated for an Ariel Award
